0 New Song “Wings”

I’ve been busy lately and haven’t had much time for songwriting but here is a new song finally! This song was inspired mostly by Isaiah 40:28-31 after helping our Portland To Coast team this year. I walked last year but due to an injury I was along as moral support and official photographer this year to cheer on my wife and our baby! This is a song about relying on God’s strength to help us on this path of life, he gives us wings like eagles and lifts us up with his strength when we are weary!

0 New Song “Keep Me In Your Heart”

I know it’s been over 3 months since I was last able to upload a new song, so here at last is a new song! I started writing this song back in June of 2012 and just finished it this month. It pulls from several scriptures that talk about hiding God’s word in our heart and making room for Jesus in our heart. As it says in Ezekiel, God will replace our hearts of stone with a new one of flesh and put his Spirit in us, where he will come and dwell.

Here is a new worship song I wrote today while reading in Psalms. The idea for the chorus came from Psalm 25:4-5 and the verses come from Psalm 15 & 24 plus some more verses in chapter 25. This song is a cry to our generation to seek the Lord and put our trust in his ways. It is cry to God to show us his ways and help us to walk in them!

0 New Song “God So Loved”

I’ve let myself get too busy over the last few months and haven’t been doing any song writing so here is a new song I wrote today based mostly on the well known verse John 3:16. I’ll try to upload a video of me playing sometime this week (update: watch live video here). As it is Easter week I was reading and reflecting on the amazing gift of salvation and God’s grace. I realized that I sometimes overlook this verse just because it has become so familiar since childhood, but I wanted to reawaken the wonder and thankfulness for the message it contains. The other verses used are listed at the bottom of the lyrics.
