This CD is a collection of several new songs we've been working on in the studio recently as part of multiple full-length projects. We decided to release this CD to tide everyone over until we are finished with the other full projects. This CD includes songs from the upcoming "Hymnody", "Stop The Sun", and "War & Peace" projects, plus a few bonus acoustic versions.

"Stop The Sun", is a love song I wrote for my wife as a Christmas and 1st Anniversary present in 2009 and has a rocky Lifehouse vibe going on. "Happy Ever After" is more of an Owl City experiment. My good friend Rayleigh Shores is a big Owl City fan, so when I was asked to write a love song for her wedding to Nathan Leavitt this was the result. The title track, "White", features the amazing violin talents of my good friend Tanner Johnson and pulls from some of my Sarah McLachlan influence. "Thank You" is the first of several tribute songs for our troops that I have written and we have planned for a full-length "support the troops" album titled "War & Peace".

"Wherever With You", is another new love song I wrote for my wife as our 2nd Anniversary present for 2011, along with "We'll Be Just Fine (1000 Days)" which commemorates our first 1000 days of marriage. Then we have one of my new modernized hymns: "Turn Your Eyes", which is my new soft jazz arrangement of "Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus" along with "Shades of Grace" which relates the gospel to various colors. There is also the new acoustic lullaby "Before You Sleep" that was released as a single on November 15, 2011.

I hope that everyone enjoys this little eclectic compilation and that it whets your appetite for some of the new full-length projects we are working on in the studio.
