I go before your altar, O God
Proclaiming aloud your praise
And telling of all your wonderful deeds
My heart cries out, "Seek his face!"
I long to gaze upon your beauty, O God
I long to dwell in your house
I love the place where your glory dwells
One thing I ask and I seek
That I live there with you for eternity
I will wait
Wait for you, Lord
I will wait
Wait for you, Lord
I’ll be strong and take heart
In your goodness, O God
That you won’t turn away
That you won’t hide your face
I long to live there with you
In the place where your glory dwells
