Surely he has done great things
Surely the Lord has done great things for us
He sent his son the baby Jesus

Be not afraid oh creatures of this land
The open pastures are becoming green again
The trees will bear good fruit it's true
The vine will yield up its wine

So rejoice
Be glad you people of this land

Be glad you people, won't you come and lift your voice?
Be glad you people, let's rejoice

You will have plenty to eat
Until you're full you will praise the name of God
For he has worked wonders for you
And there is no other like him
