Delay in release of Live at the Solid Rock Cafe 10.12.2001
The artwork package and CD Master were shipped back at the end of June and the CDs were supposed to have been
available for ordering from my website by the 4th of July. However, I just got word from the CD manufacturer
that they are in the middle of moving some of their production facilities and that there will be a few week
delay in getting the new CD out. The new target release date is Monday, July 19. I will post an update if there
are any more delays, and a release notice when the CD is finally available. So just keep checking back here
for more news.
This CD is from a live concert I did at the Solid Rock Cafe down in Southern Oregon back in October of 2001.
It features 10 songs taken from the track listings of "Don't Look Back" and "Unplugged" as well as some unreleased
material. Interspersed between these songs are little anecdotes and stories behind the writing of some of them.
This is translated to mean, "silly Dawson ramblings," so try not to laugh too hard. Following the first half of the CD
is a 7-song worship set that I finished out the evening with. This features 2 of my unreleased worship songs and 5
covers which range from recognizable modern favorites to new songs by some Calvary Chapel worship leaders. All told the
CD comes to a playing time of 79:42!
If you enjoy live acoustic music then you will love this coffee shop CD. All of the songs were recorded
