I was invited to come and fellowship and lead worship at Exchange Church in Forest Grove on Sunday, September 1, 2013. My wife Jessica sang with me along with the great band from the church. I apologize for the shaky video. My nephew was helping us record some of the songs live and was doing so without a tripod. This is one of my original worship songs based mostly on Psalm 59 & 89. 0 Trust In Him At All Times
It is easy to trust in God in the good times when life is easy, but often difficult when trials or tragedy strikes. But it says to “trust in him at all times.” Let us pour out our hearts to him and find hope and strength in his sure foundation. Let us not be shaken when disaster strikes. Please continue to pray and lift up those devastated by this attack!
Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. Please join me and pray for those in Boston who lost their lives or were injured by this senseless violence, and lift up their loved ones in prayer. We ask, God, that you would give them your peace which surpasses understanding even in the midst of this tragedy.

This is a new worship song I wrote recently while up at 6am doing some morning devotions. For those who know me, this is very early in the morning. Ha! I guess it was appropriate I was reading the passage in Psalm 59:16-17 where it says:
But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble. You are my strength, I sing praise to you; you, God, are my fortress, my God on whom I can rely.
