This is the second music video that my friend Jeff Huit shot and produced for me. This song is one of the love songs I wrote for my wife shortly before we got married and is the title track for my collection of wedding and love songs, "Looking Up At The Same Star" (available on iTunes, Amazon, CDBaby). This song tells the story of how I would look up into the sky at night and wonder when I would meet the love of my life, and how we finally found each other, and now walk hand-in-hand beneath the stars.
My wife and I had a small wedding in January 2009 and then had the full ceremony with tuxes and dresses and extravaganza later in May. We actually shot this video the day after the "second" wedding so Jeff was able to include some footage of Jessica and I dancing at our wedding near the end. Cameos include: Rayleigh Shores (now Leavitt) and her dog Rivers, Joe Mistachkin, & Jessica Cowals. Unfortunately we couldn't get our drummer, Nick James, up for the shoot, but the other Nick on the recording, Nick Garrett-Powell made it. He is featured in the amazing solo breaks and helped produce this song and the entire album with me. You rock, Nick, thanks!
